Good day my lovelies!!!
It doesn’t have to be Monday for me to be mad… I mean, crazed, loco in the coco, nuts, or looney! However, it is Monday and I am mad.
Sometimes I wake up in a funk, on the road to angry, irritable and discontent. Apparently, this is not so uncommon, as the morning is often a period of anxiety until the psyche can readjust from it’s dream state to “reality”…
So what I did this morning was make the CHOICE to change my thought, which in turn changes the feelings I was having. I went to the gym…. yeah, don’t get too enthusiastic, I just did a tiny bit of cardio, but at least I can say I went to the gym! In the gym, as I mindlessly step on the stair master, I run through some simple principles that have helped me over the last nine years. More about that another time….
Suffice is to say that I emerged from the gym a little better adjusted and ready to face the day. Show up for that I GET to show up for and be grateful I am where I am in this “reality”.
